Hello Sunshine - Vitamin D Patch

36 patches

Your daily dose of vitamin D3 and vitamin K2.

This mini transdermal patch is formulated with vegan vitamin D3 (from lichen, 100mcg) and vitamin K2 Menaquinone-7 (200mcg). Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function and normal function of the immune system. Sustained release over 8 to 12 hours. 36 patches per box.

Who is it for?
For anyone living in cloudy latitudes, working indoors, or looking to support their immunity in autumn/winter. Vegan D3 (lichen) is particularly suited to vegans. K2 is traditionally associated with directing absorbed calcium towards the bones.

What to expect:
With regular use, this patch may also help support your immunity and bone comfort through the seasons. The D3+K2 combination is a common pairing in preventive nutrition. Individual experiences vary.

How it works:
A large part of the French population has insufficient vitamin D intake, particularly in winter. Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone-7) is traditionally associated with directing calcium towards the bones. The transdermal patch aims to offer continuous diffusion over 8-12h, alongside the oral route.

Why Patches?

Vitamin patches use a superior transdermal delivery method, offering continuous nutrient release for up to 12 hours.
This innovative approach allows for direct absorption into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system entirely. Free from fillers, these patches contain only pure active ingredients, ensuring fast-acting effects and noticeable results from the very first application.

Our dose of sunshine in patch form: the D3 and K2 duo in transdermal form, with vegan D3 extracted from lichen, to make up for the lack of light without going through digestion, in a discreet mini patch to wear all day.

FAQ

Where to buy the Barrière Hello Sunshine vitamin D patch in France?

SuperKure is an official Barrière reseller in France. Order the Hello Sunshine vitamin D patch on superkure.fr with delivery from our French warehouse, no customs fees. Free shipping from €60.

Why use a vitamin D patch rather than capsules or drops?

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin whose oral absorption depends on the presence of fats in the meal. The transdermal route bypasses this problem: D3 is dissolved in a lipid vehicle that crosses the skin directly into circulation. This method provides continuous absorption over 24 hours and ensures a stable blood level, independent of meals.

Is vitamin D deficiency really common in France?

Yes. Studies estimate that 70 to 80% of French people have insufficient or deficient vitamin D levels, particularly in autumn and winter (insufficient sunshine) and among people with dark skin, seniors and indoor workers. Vitamin D deficiency is associated with weakened immunity, seasonal depression, bone health issues and chronic fatigue.

What dose of vitamin D does the Barrière Hello Sunshine patch deliver?

The Barrière Hello Sunshine patch delivers a daily dose of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) suited to maintenance needs. For a confirmed deficiency, higher doses prescribed by a doctor may be necessary. For daily preventive use (autumn and winter), the patch is a simple and effective solution.

Does the Hello Sunshine vitamin D patch help with seasonal depression?

The research is substantial: meta-analyses show that vitamin D supplementation reduces symptoms of depression, particularly seasonal affective disorder (SAD) in autumn and winter. D3 is involved in the synthesis of serotonin, the well-being neurotransmitter. Regular intake is advised from October.

Can you use the Barrière vitamin D patch all year round?

In general, supplementation is a priority from September to April in France (insufficient sunshine). In summer, 15-20 minutes of sun exposure per day on arms and legs is enough to maintain adequate levels. If you work indoors, have dark skin or permanently use high SPF, year-round supplementation is recommended after medical advice.

Are there any precautions or contraindications with the Barrière vitamin D patch?

Vitamin D is fat-soluble and can accumulate: do not exceed the recommended dose without medical supervision (a blood test is advised). In cases of hypercalcaemia, sarcoidosis, hypoparathyroidism or active tuberculosis, consult your doctor. May interact with thiazides and certain kidney medications.
